The Britains reinforce their lead at the sixth day of Delphis Dart18

At the sixth day of the Delphis Dart 18 World Championships there were 3 races. The first race could only begin after 3 startingprocedures. 13 teams got a Black Flag. Alan and Fiona Kernick from the UK immediately took the lead and never gave it away. Dave and Louise Roberts & Dan Norman with Melanie Rogers, also from the UK, were battling al race for the second place. Eventually the Roberts won the battle and finished second, followed by Norman – Rogers.
The start of the second race went a lot better. Norman – Rogers took a huge leap, but at the third rack they had to give it away to Marco Manganelli and Amy Knott (UK) because he didn’t judge the buoy right en had to tack two times. Dave and Louise Roberts finished third, followed by Alan and Fiona Kernick who came in fourth.

During the last start of the day the wind was shifting 30 degrees, which ment all the buoys had to be moved again. Once everyone was off, Alan en Fiona immediately took the lead again.

At the first buoy their lead was huge. Again there was a though battle for the second place. Dan Norman and Melanie Rogers eventually won the battle. The French British combination Herve le Maux/Tory Hackman took the third place.
Overall Alan and Fiona Kernick reinforced their first position. They are now 8 points ahead of Norman/Rogers. The Roberts (31 points) are now third.
